The network organization Regional Consultation Acute Care Chain (ROAZ) has asked Visueeltjes to design a visual report in the morning program during the network day on June 13, 2024 and to facilitate a workshop ‘Visualise at the Office’ in the afternoon program. The aim of the network event is to strengthen cooperation to improve the quality and accessibility of acute care.|

Background information: ROAZ consists of providers of acute care who make agreements on a regional level about better cooperation. The Traumacentrum Zuidwest-Nederland is the staff office of the ROAZ that informs, signals, facilitates and advises the ROAZ and has the task of strengthening the cooperation with chain partners.

Visualisation & Workshop

The visual report entitled ‘Vision on crisis management in acute care and non-acute care’ is divided into the components from the morning program. Such as the lectures by director Marco Zannoni of NCTV (National Coordinator for Counterterrorism and Security) and Robert Borst who talked about scientific developments in the field of resilience and administrative decision-making during a crisis, the panel discussion in which various questions were discussed and at the bottom right, just before the break, Sanne & Joyce supervised a team building energizer in groups for writing couplets with the conclusions in the closing.

The ‘Visualise in the Office’ workshop in the afternoon focused on crisis management. Structured in such a way that the participants were given an explanation of how they could use visual note-taking in their own work. For example, how do you see the difference between patient and ambulance personnel? In addition, they were given the opportunity to visualize a crisis case in pairs in 6 steps. The workshop was received as valuable and above all original with practical tips on how they can now use diagrams, icons and flowcharts in their own work.
