VSC-network asked Visueeltjes to design a visualization for the international iMove project in five different translations. The Association of Science Museums Science Center is a European collaboration in which organizations from different countries work together on themes of accessibility, diversity, equality and inclusivity. They recently developed the tool Kadeiloscope, which offers a practical guideline for team reflections and published a white paper for directors working at science museums. The aim of the visualization is to interest directors and to invite them to read the white paper further on the above-mentioned themes.

Visualisation

The visualisation ‘Accessibility, Diversity, Equity and inclusivity in organisations’ shows all chapters from the white paper at a glance, executed in five different languages: Dutch, English, French, Italian and Portuguese. The visualisation can be read from top to bottom with the left column ‘Facing the truth’, the middle column ‘The idea of change on four levels’ and the right column ‘Transformation to learn from’. But it can also be read from left to right, where the images are divided into four levels of Individual, Interactional, Institutional and Social. The visualisation has been added to the whitepaper both digitally and in print and is also used as a stand-alone image.
